Newly named LSU interim athletic director Verge Ausberry says the athletic department is ‘not broken’ in the wake of his predecessor Scott Woodward's abrupt departure this week.

LSU interim athletic director Verge Ausberry will have the authority to identity Brian Kelly's replacement as the school searches for a new football coach.

The Scott Woodward news broke during LSU women's basketball's exhibition game. Mulkey was not present at the post game presser.

This is one of the first big, public moves that Batt has made to try and jolt MSU's fundraising efforts. A big reason Batt was hired to be Michigan State's AD in June was because of how good he was at it as both a deputy AD at Alabama and as the AD at Georgia Tech.
