Built in February 1947, our RC-3 Seabee was the 462nd Seabee off the production line. In 1967, as the initial aircraft of start-up airline Air Molokai, this Seabee was acquired by Hang Younge. It was retired after a few years and purchased in 1979 by airline pilot Bob Gould who began restoration. He named it Tuesday's Child because, when asked when the Seabee would fly again, he always replied, "Tuesday!" | Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum

While undergoing restoration our Seabee was given the nickname, “Tuesday’s child” because whenever the owner was asked, “When will the Seabee fly again?” He would always respond with, “Tuesday!” - She is also known as Keiki Po’alua - “Tuesday’s Child” in Hawaiian.
