Update on Scrooge, a Varied Thrush in our clinic. Scrooge was brought to us here at the Alaska Raptor Center after falling from a nest that could not be located. In her time here at the Center, she has grown quickly! As Scrooge's flight feathers began to grow in, she was ready to be moved into a larger enclosure. This larger area gives her enough space to work on her flight ability, learn to eat on her own, and we even get to see her taking a bath! We hope to be able to release Scrooge soon. The
