Less than a week – that’s how long it took to “print” this room at HDB’s Centre of Building Research, which houses South East Asia’s largest 3D concrete printer! 3D concrete printing will allow us to introduce unconventional and bespoke designs in HDB towns and estates, which would be difficult to create using conventional methods For a start, we’ll trial the use of 3D printing for the precinct designs in selected Tengah and Bidadari projects.
